Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about therapy with Tracey Fuller, LPCC #6637, in Felton, CA and by telehealth across California.

Do you take insurance?

Some insurance is accepted right now, so please reach out to check your plan. If your plan isn't covered, I provide superbills to every client so you can seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance company.

How much does a session cost?

Individual therapy is $150 for 60 minutes, and extended 90-minute sessions (often best for EMDR) are $225. A sliding scale from $100 to $250 is available using the Green Bottle method, where you choose the level that fits your finances. Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy has its own rates, listed on the Services page.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. I see clients in person at my Felton office and by secure video for anyone located in California at the time of the session.

Where is your office?

6630 Highway 9, Suite 204, Felton, CA 95018, in the San Lorenzo Valley in Santa Cruz County.

What is EMDR therapy?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps your brain reprocess stuck memories, beliefs and body sensations. We set goals and make sure you have ways to regulate first. Then, while you focus on a target, I guide you through bilateral stimulation (eye movements, taps or tones) until it no longer causes distress.

What is Internal Family Systems (IFS)?

IFS sees the mind as made up of different "parts." Together we get to know your parts, understand how they interact, and help the wounded ones let go of the burdens they carry, so you can reconnect with your calm, confident Self.

What is Brainspotting?

Brainspotting grew out of EMDR. It's based on the idea that where you look affects how you feel. We identify a target, find the eye position connected to it, and let your nervous system process and release what's held there, sometimes with bilateral music.

What is ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), and who prescribes it?

KAP combines therapy with a ketamine lozenge to help you access and work through difficult material. I offer it in partnership with Journey Clinical: their medical team evaluates whether it's right for you, prescribes the medicine and monitors your progress. I provide the preparation, dosing and integration sessions.

Who do you work with?

Adults looking for support with trauma, PTSD and anxiety. I'm an LGBTQIA2S+ affirming therapist, and I also offer therapy for therapists.

How do I get started?

Send a message through the Contact page or call (408) 755-0524, and we'll set up a consultation call to see if we're a good fit. Please don't include personal health details in the form; we'll talk about those privately.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes, within the limits set by law, which I explain in writing at intake. Your clinical records are protected under HIPAA and California law. This website doesn't collect health information; see the Privacy Policy.

What if I'm in crisis?

Therapy isn't an emergency service. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.
